CONSULTATION and Services to Integrators:-
- RF Propagation Predictions
- Data sheet ~ there will be a charge for this service. At some stage you will be required to supply information relating to Site location, transmitter model/power, antenna configuration, etc..
- Infrastructure and Inventory Planning
- This service is free. We have shipped integrated infrastructure equipment for over 100 PMR channels and have met many variations of infrastructure design, that knowledge is at your disposal. Start by e-mailing us to express your interest and we'll take it from there. Then, when you have your infrastructure design we will work with you to determine what products you require.
- Commissioning
- Installation - we will expect you to install the equipment, but we are on hand to give advice. However; we can either send experienced engineers to your location to assist local staff commission your system or support your own efforts on-line as required.
- On-line assistance ~ initially this assistance is free of charge. However if, in our judgement, the level of enquiry exceeds a reasonable level then we may negotiate a fee with you; you will be given notice if this occurs and any fee will not be retrospective.
- Commissioning engineer (CE), supplied by us, on-Site. There will be a charge for this service. We will negotiate with you as to the detail of the cost. For international movements our preference is that we will get the CE to a local airport nominated by you and then you will provide all internal transport, accommodation and subsistance. We will charge you a flat day rate and the cost of travel to your airport.
- Training
- Simulcast technique education ~ you can learn a lot from infromation available on the web, you could start by reviewing the papers under the 'technotes' tab on the top navigation bar; however you may wish to have some formal training on particular aspects, e.g. Audio Compensation. Formal education of this type is probably best timed to occur just before commissioning or equipment technical training. The venue can be anywhere that is mutually agreeable. There will be a charge for formal training.
- Using our commissioning engineer to help your staff commission your system can be a very positive way of importing Simulcast care skills.
- Equipment training ~ we expect students to be knowledgeable in the field of communications/electronic engineering and have an understanding of Simulcast techniques. Training can be formal, or informal - you may learn about the system when our commissioning engineer helps your staff commission your system.
