Suppliers to PMR Integrators Worldwide
- Introduction.
- Dalman Technical Services (DTS) supply, design and manufacture components for Private Mobile Radio Networks (PMRadio Networks). Our worldwide customer base comprises primarily of PMR Systems Integrator Companies - although there are a few end users with sufficient installation and commissioning resources to work alone - who service PMR for Government Agencies, Public Safety Organizations, Industry, Commercial Enterprises, etc..
- PMR Link Infrastructure Components.
- Whilst DTS are able to source and supply all the requirements for a PMRadio Network our main area of activity is in the link infrastructure - that part between the Console/Control Room and the Base Stations. DTS has been supplying integrated systems and discrete infrastructure components for straight and simulcast multi-station PMRadio Networks since 1991. These systems and components whether integrated infrastructure systems such as SOLAR and COSMOS or discrete components such as PLUTO (VOIP), VOTERS and GIZMO are interconnected by a link medium supplied and installed by the integrator; this may be line, radio or IP network.
- GPS Referenced - Timing, Reference Frequency, sources and distribution.
- Many of the DTS products use a globally available TIMING PULSE signal for synchronization and timing; DTS manufacture a GPS Rx and GPS distribution unit to support SOLAR, COSMOS, VOIP Voter, Clock Generator and Reference Frequency Generators. The FREQUENCY Reference Generators are used with Base Txs in Simulcast systems.
- Supervision.
- DTS recognize that the control and monitoring of PMRadio Network infrastructure is an important tool in the care an maintenance of traffic operations. Therefore, the integrated link infrastructure sub-systems (SOLAR and COSMOS) are fitted with a limited capability to control and monitor their environment. However, there is also a fully functioning Remote Alarm and Control System product available for those occasions where extensive supervision is required.
- Consultation and Support Services.
- DTS have experienced and knowledgeable staff who can assist in the management of a PMR project - this assistance includes System Planning, Inventory listing and RF Propagation Prediction. Equipment is warranted for 12 months - extended warrantee is available - and a return to factory fixed price repair service is offered.
